Core Strength

· Strong core muscles make everyday life activities easier

· Athletes with strong core muscles can reduce the risk of injury and increase the length of time of peak performance

· Weak core muscles are often associated with poor posture, low back pain, and lower extremity injuries

· Core muscles include abdominals, obliques, glutes, hip adductors and abductors, erector spinae, diaphragm, and pelvic floor.
