Give the Gift of Safety this #GivingTuesday
Safer Sports Supply Fund
This #GivingTuesday, PlaySafe is asking our community to help us keep more kids safe. Every 5 seconds, a child under the age of 19 visits an emergency department due to sports-related injuries and the secondary school athletic population leads the nation in athletic-related deaths. Only 42% of these schools have access to a full-time athletic trainer, and even less have the necessary supplies to treat injuries or respond to life-threatening medical situations. Give today to our PlaySafe Safer Sports Supply Fund to help us provide necessary and life-saving supplies to keep the children in our community safe, healthy, and active.

Growing Tuesday Campaign
Each year, PlaySafe welcomes more than 100,000 student-athletes into athletic training rooms in 85 middle schools, high schools, and colleges across three states. When injuries occur, PlaySafe has a staff of 120 athletic trainers available to provide services to the schools and communities we serve. This #GivingTuesday, PlaySafe is asking our community to help us keep more kids safe as we continue to grow and serve our community by helping us build a new home. This new space will include a lobby that serves as a pathway to new friendships and educational opportunities, an athletic training center that will serve as a hub for middle school athlete's care, and training for our AT staff in Anderson county, a conference and education center for meetings and educational events for students, coaches, and parents, and administrative offices for our growing staff. This new home will serve Anderson County in a multitude of ways and we're asking you, our community, to help us build it. Donate to our #GrowingTuesday Campaign today to help us get a step closer to a new home and a safer community.

A Global Day of Giving
GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
On December 3, 2019, join the movement and give - whether it’s some of your time, a donation, or the power of your voice in your local community. It’s a simple idea. Whether you come together with your family, your community, your company or your organization, find a way to give back and then share your idea. Visit givingtuesday.org to learn more.
